This client came to our design team with the preliminary floor plans for a brand new home and wanted to get our opinion on the layout, the overall design sensibility and beyond. Our first step was to develop a clear understanding of how they wanted to use the home, what it represented to them, and then how best to customize each and every decision to support their requirements, from a functional as well as aesthetic perspective. The result is a retreat that can be equally comfortable to accommodate parties of ten to twenty guests as it is to accommodate the immediate family of three. Warm, indigenous materials, craftsman detailing and appointments along with consistent fabrics and artwork blend together, creating a cozy and peaceful interior.
