This young couple came to deign team with a number of ideas and a very enthusiastic attitude. They were interested in taking the 1970's out of their home and replacing this with a spirit that more closely reflected their young family. Our team evaluated the spaces that reflected this bygone era in terms of size, use and adjacency and helped them re-visit and re-think their floor plan, the use of walls and open spaces, determine public and private areas, and completely redevelop their finish strategy, their colour palette and ultimately the demeanor of their home. Now much more open, warmer and retreat-like, their space is congruent with how they want to live in in-darker, quieter spaces for relaxation linked by interesting textured corridors to gathering spaces for family and friends.
