With a membership numbering over 4600, this forward thinking association came to IDEATE looking for a refreshed image and architectural interior to reflect this. The true diversity of talent of its members led the management team to consider a very collaborative philosophy in the design and organization of the new space. Begun as a renovation project to an existing space, a unique opportunity of a brand new building arose during the planning stage, and the IDEATE team quickly changed gears and made this work. The result is a collaboration focused space, enabling committees, work teams and consultants to meet and work on the wide variety of initiatives constantly being developed. Engineering is a part of just about everything we do in modern society. The atmosphere of the new office space represents this place in the community, provides a nod to the future of engineering, while not forgetting the historical significance of where they came from.
