What started as the replacement of some carpet became something quite different indeed. This client was made aware of our design team through a satisfied client of ours – and approached us to help them with the replacement of a couple of finishes that had worn out in their hotel lounge. After a brief discussion with them, reviewing their long term vision for this lounge, its place in the mining community, and what the possibilities might be for them, we were involved in a much larger project, assembling a team of other professionals to aid in this transformation. The project, now complete offers a much more comfortable (and abuse resistant) environment to all – and better complements the adjacent, more contemporary spaces within the complex.
