A large and complex project, the relocation of 350 government employees is an undertaking involving many steps. Firstly, our team was retained to conduct the functional programming for this group which was fanned out in nine separate sites around Winnipeg. Careful attention to detail in recording existing assets while working with government standards and guidelines to establish future needs resulted in a document that was used to identify a new space for this group. Next the schematic and detailed planning was conducted while engaging stakeholders and user groups along the way, ensuring appropriate adjacencies and complying with work functionality. The next step is the move coordination from existing sites into their new office space - which will close the loop on this ambitious and complex project very smoothly.
