IDEATE was asked to reinvent the washroom and shower facilities in the men’s locker room at the private golf club. The general manager was interested in reinventing these spaces to provide his members with a more luxurious experience. In addition, the overall layout needed to be reviewed, to provide the most efficient traffic patterns for users. IDEATE reviewed precedents from other clubhouses to determine appropriate and inspired solutions that would be durable and maintainable for the long term. Having in mind the future upgrade to the adjacent locker room areas, the design team selected fixtures and finishes that would provide a strategic transition - complimenting the existing colour palette while introducing richer and bolder colour tones, wood details and accents. The result is a renewed concept for these amenity spaces that are consistent with the future direction of the country club.
