Another return client for the IDEATE Design Team. Challenge #1 - converting a former health food shop into a beautiful shopping experience. Challenge #2 - the space is long and linear, and only has storefront windows at one end. Challenge #3 - how can this be put together within a reasonable timeframe and for the best dollar value? The result quickly took shape considering as a strong design feature an undulating wooden wall, the proverbial pathway, which became the feature display space. It runs the length of the boutique, and ends with a Parson’s style cash desk below a contemporary crystal chandelier. Small pockets of additional display feature backlit onyx panels, rotating double-sided glass display towers to best maximize views into the store from many angles while passing by, and most importantly concealed storage for all that shoe inventory! Calm and serene, the space reflects simple elegance and quietly supports the customer’s need for contemplation and keen decision making.
