The opportunity to design a customized workplace for your own design team doesn’t present itself everyday. When it does, you must take the opportunity with every gesture to inform your clients of your design vocabulary, sensitivity to site and your ability to best use interior space. When the IDEATE team decided it was time to relocate, a former bank building was selected as the perfect site. The existing structure and its similarity and compatibility to our own work function was a great fit. An original open banking hall easily transformed into a collaborative design studio, with vaults housing critical client and design information neatly and securely. The original Managers office has been reinvented into a client interview and meeting room. An extensive design library occupies the entire lower level and other collaborative and creative spaces fill the two storey structure. A unique and creative place to call home.
